Biker Injured in Andover Accident

An unidentified motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Route 28 in Andover last Thursday afternoon near Castle Heights Road. According to The Andover Townsman, a car and motorcycle somehow collided around 4:30pm and two individuals, who also have not yet been named, had been in the car. Preliminary reports indicate that the car was stopped to turn onto Castle Heights Road when the biker crashed into the back of the vehicle, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected off of his bike and land at the front of the car.

The unknown biker was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. His condition is not currently known at this time. It was reported that he is a town employee in Andover. Police closed part of Route 28 in order to reconstruct the scene and investigate how the vehicles crashed into each other.
